F*CK THE (school) SYSTEM!
I am sooo pissed at the school right now! 3:40 pm the school bus pulled up and let the kids off, just like everyday. Only today I got the wrong kid. Yes, you read right. THE WRONG F*CKING KID! Some little girl who lives a few hundred feet down the road was dropped off at my house and MY kid was not even on the bus. Luckily I was outside waiting for my daughter, otherwise this little girl would have been wandering around in hysterics by the road that happens to be a major route through here. Lots of traffic, speed limit 55. Anyway, so the boy next door who always walks Courtney about half way home walks over and we're just kind of looking at this little girl who is bawling her sweet little head off. After I got over the initial shock of the whole thing, I asked her her phone number and tried calling her mom. No answer. Convenient. So I called the bus garage. They had no idea what was going on. Wonderful. I talked to them, trying to locate my kid and trying to locate the little girl's mom, they talked to the bus drivers and NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THE F*CK IS GOING ON! Apparently while all this is going on, the other mother had called the bus garage to see where her kid was and they told her "Well, she got off somewhere, but we don't know where". Can you image what that felt like to hear that? I could have been some sicko just waiting for this chance. All the while my kid could have been with some sicko just waiting for this chance. Well, they called her back and told her that her daughter was here so she came to get her and all was well with them. My boyfriend had just left to go to their house (the kids have tags on their backpacks with their address and bus numbers on them) and she pulled in from our house while he was knocking on their door. While he was over there, the bus garage called back and told me that my daughter was on bus 1. Wrong bus completely! Some teacher who is supposed to be making sure all the kids get on the right busses put her on the wrong bus after school. HELLO! There's only been 4 days of school and she's been on the wrong bus coming home TWICE! There's no f*cking way that I'm going to put up with this shit every other day for the rest of the school year. These are KINDERGARTENERS for f*ck's sake. We're not talking about some kids that would have some sort of clue what to do if something like this happened. They're 6 year olds! Well, when Joe got home from running around trying to find my daughter, he started calling around to figure out how the hell this bullshit happened and, of course, everything was somebody else's fault. Apparently the bus driver (of the bus she was supposed to be on) even asked "Where's Courtney? I didn't see her get on." and do you know what that stupid lazy bitch teacher said? "She wasn't in school today." F*CK THAT BITCH! How the hell would she know if she was in school anyway? My kid doesn't even go to that school. My kid rides a bus from her school to that school and changes busses there (she goes to a school that's farther away because they're "trying to keep class sizes down" so she has to ride a bus that goes back and forth between the schools).
Anyway I'll definitely be picking Courtney up from school from now on. She doesn't have any problem getting TO school, but you better believe that I'll be taking her tomorrow so I can stop in and
