Yet another project
If you've been reading for a while, then you might know that every month or so I start a new project. First it was sewing curtains for every room of our house, then it was gardening, then sewing purses (which I'm still doing) and now it's knitting. I went to Walmart yesterday with Amy and got some knitting needles and yarn and she showed me how to start it, but then had to dash off on a date so I was on my own. Do you realize how hard it is to figure out what the hell they're talking about when you're trying to learn something online? They make it all complicated when it's really not and I had to start over a billion times but I finally got it. Then I had to learn how to end the knitting so I could take it off the needles. That also took forever due to instructions that make NO sense. So basically, I looked it up, followed instructions about 10 times, then did the opposite of what I thought they were talking about and it worked. So I don't know if I'm doing it right, but hey it works for me. Now all I have to do is figure out what to do with the last stitch. Do I knot it? Tie it? What?! If anyone reading knows what the hell I'm talking about, please tell me what I'm supposed to do with the very last stitch on the needle.
Why can't I ever just sit around and not be creating something?! Maybe I'm just secretly planning for the day when I become the next Martha Stewart... um, without the jail time.
