Light bulb!
Well... I guess my friend and I are going to start making purses. Yes, purses... as in handbags, pocketbooks, billfolds, pouches, totes. We're gonna combine my sewing and creative skills and her fashion and color coordinating skills and come up with some really snazzy designs. I have a feeling that neither of us are really going to like much of each other's stuff because she's pink and frilly and I'm every other color and shape. She makes it a point to match her clothing everyday like other normal people but I used to make it a point NOT to match. I still don't always match. She especially hated these lime-green tights I used to wear (I actually still have them), so if my purses look anything like my outfits used to... *shrug* It'll still be fun. Actually, the hardest thing would be coming up with a name. Excluding the first letter, we share the same letters of our last names, so we were thinking about using that. Only problem is we only have A, E, L, R and T to work with. So if we add the letters from our first names that adds M, N, Y, and the first letters of our last names that adds S and H. So it's a lot to work with now, but I can't come up with anything that isn't stupid. So far we have Yes, Stream, Ran, My, Star, Helm, Art, Later, May, Rest, Hey, Hay, Laser, Leash, Mars, Steam, Taser, Man, Heart, Lay, Last, Near, Hear, and Mash. I'm sure there's tons of other words, but that was only 10 minutes worth of thinking at Dennys. *shrug* I think I'm gonna start playing around with designs tomorrow during the day, maybe crank out a purse with some left over fabric I have, then she's supposed to come over again tomorrow night so we can start "brainstorming" together. I'm kind of excited. It'll give me something creative to do. Yay!
