Kindergarten here I come? I don't know if I mentioned it before, but I've been thinking about taking some online courses. Well, I finally received my information about interior design in the mail. It sounds great and all but I just don't get it. What exactly am I supposed to do with this degree? Just go up to random people and ask them if they need me to redecorate their homes? And do I really want to spend between $600.00 and $900.00 dollars (depending on which school I go through) to get a piece of paper saying that I know which colors aren't completely tacky together? Didn't we go over colors in kindergarten? Plus I can't really figure out which would be best for me; the cheaper course that takes "as little as 6 months" or the expensive one that takes about a year. I don't want to spend forever learning all this stuff, but... you get what you pay for. Argh! Maybe I'll just say forget it and get a degree in something that I have some sort of clue what to do with once I'm done. *scowl*
