Plastic(wo)man

I am such a hypocrite. No, really. I was totally into the Swan when it was on. Watched it every week. And every week I would think, "why would anyone do all that to themselves?" I just didn't understand why someone would want to change so much that if you hadn't seen your best friend in a few weeks then passed her on the street, she wouldn't even recognize you... or better yet, that lying, cheating S.O.B. who broke your heart. I mean, who wouldn't love to rub that in? But anyway, I didn't get it but then I realized it starts off with a simple thought like "I could deal with some better boobs...". Then it turns into "and a smaller nose... maybe fuller lips... higher cheekbones... maybe a little tan..." and it doesn't freaking stop. Once you get the ball rolling you end up wishing you were Malibu B*arbie. So I watched this movie called Breast Men (I think) with David Schwimmer and it was the story of how boob jobs came about. It got me thinking... "I could deal with some better boobs..."

Yeah, if you don't hear from me, it's because I have turned into plastic.
