going postal
Will somebody please explain to me WHY someone who gets paid to open and close mailboxes all day can never effectively close our damn mailbox?! Unless one of us is the last one to touch the mailbox, you can expect to see it hanging open. This annoys me to absolutely no end. EVERY.DAMN.DAY. (Except for Sunday, but that doesn't count.) And another thing about her is when we moved in, she made a big deal about us filling out this "Only Deliver Mail For These People" card. So we filled it out, gave it back.... and OF COURSE we still get mail for the people who used to live here. WTF?! And I know she knows they don't live here anymore. She's seen all of us and she evidently remembers me well enough to deliver a letter that was addressed to the wrong address (and I'm talking instead of being addressed to 123 W. Street, it was addressed to 153 E. Street), so she's not totally clueless, but come on. CLOSE THE DAMN MAILBOX ALREADY! And if I get one more article of mail addressed to The Parents Of Doesn'tfreakinlivehereanymore Miller, I am going to lose it.
