Over the weekend we went out and bought picnic like stuff for the summer table decorations (we don't use the table very much so I like to make it seasonally festive) to go with the red and white checkered with large black ants tablecloth I was going to make. Well, I got everything set up last night and I happen to think that I did a pretty good job. Very summery... complete with plastic yellow mustard and red ketchup squirters. Oh yes, I rock.
So then today I woke up and dropped some tea bags into a glass container full of water and set it outside... YAY! Sun tea! And right now I'm boiling eggs to make deviled eggs and when the rest of the supplies get here I'm going to make potato salad. The past 24 hours seem to have been revolving around the fact that it's warm enough to belive it's summer and it's somehow tricked me into thinking it is.
I think maybe tomorrow I'll try to get started on the back yard. Now I just have to decide... grass or garden. Maybe I'll plant a lilac bush in the middle of the grass seed and just put flowers along the fence. That way, my Morning Glorys will have something to climb.
