.:Oh give up already!:. I can't believe they are still obsessing over the fact that people download songs from the internet. The RIAA just filed another 477 suits (add that to over 2,000 previous suits this year alone). What is the going rate for 1 song these days? 20 million, 50 million, 1 billion? I don't see the big deal. These "artists" sure do think highly of themselves to demand every penny "owed". Yes, they work hard but so does everyone else and you don't hear anyone around the office complaining that they should have made 5.6 million dollars instead of just 4.2 last year. Evidently the top 5 artists are Usher, Outkast, Hoobastank,Britney Spears and Blink 182. I have downloaded exactly ONE Usher song... you know, the only one that doesn't suck on his new cd. One Outkast song, 1 of maybe 3 that doesn't suck on the new cd. ZERO Hoobastank cause they suck no matter what. ZERO Britney who happens to be ridiculously over-rated (and she makes me want to stab out my ears and eyes). And One Blink 182 song. I bought alot of their cds back in the day (shut up) and I feel I deserve I free song. The problem with buying a whole cd is that you RARELY get what you pay for. One or two tolerable at best songs are not worth $15.00. If it weren't for us, the consumer, these people wouldn't have ANY money, so they should be grateful for what they do get... or maybe just shut the f*ck up.
